In early February 2026, Thomas Ducasse joined our team<\/a> for a six-month internship as part of his final year of studies.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thomas is currently working on a confidential project\u2026 for the moment. All we can say is that he is focusing on the design and integration of a real-time embedded electronic system for downhill mountain biking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a fifth-year engineering student at INSA Toulouse<\/a> (National Institute of Applied Sciences), Thomas took the Automation-Electronics major for his last two years of study. For his fourth-year internship, he joined the LAAS<\/a>, a CNRS<\/a> research laboratory specialising in systems analysis and architecture. For three months, he carried out research for a thesis on the programming of electric bicycles for therapeutic purposes based on the patient\u2019s heart rate. It was an opportunity to work in partnership with Purpan CHU<\/a> (hospital in Toulouse), Maillon Mobility<\/a> and Urbaner<\/a>, two electric cargo-bike manufacturers. \u201cThis internship was my first experience in the cycle industry, and then I applied for this role at Antidote Solutions. I have always enjoyed cycling with mountain biking and a bit of road cycling, and I wanted to combine engineering with my passion.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
