In early February 2026, Thomas Ducasse joined our team for a six-month internship as part of his final year of studies.
Thomas is currently working on a confidential project… for the moment. All we can say is that he is focusing on the design and integration of a real-time embedded electronic system for downhill mountain biking.
As a fifth-year engineering student at INSA Toulouse (National Institute of Applied Sciences), Thomas took the Automation-Electronics major for his last two years of study. For his fourth-year internship, he joined the LAAS, a CNRS research laboratory specialising in systems analysis and architecture. For three months, he carried out research for a thesis on the programming of electric bicycles for therapeutic purposes based on the patient’s heart rate. It was an opportunity to work in partnership with Purpan CHU (hospital in Toulouse), Maillon Mobility and Urbaner, two electric cargo-bike manufacturers. “This internship was my first experience in the cycle industry, and then I applied for this role at Antidote Solutions. I have always enjoyed cycling with mountain biking and a bit of road cycling, and I wanted to combine engineering with my passion.”
We warmly welcome Thomas to Antidote Solutions and the Fler team.
