Vefaa

The easy-to-adopt electric bike

An electric bike that combines autonomy, connectivity, simplicity, comfort and safety – that’s the challenge set by the Vefaa brand. Find out how we helped turn Roc Argiles’ vision into a reality.

A team of specialists for a unique project

“We supported Roc’s project from start to finish – from the formalization of specifications to the choice of components, frame aesthetics and 3D modeling, right through to the choice of manufacturers”. Alex Guiral, powertrain expertise referent

The Vefaa project required cutting-edge engineering and design expertise. Roc’s objective was clear: to simplify users’ lives with a connected bike incorporating AI.

We responded to these challenges with a team of specialists including Nathan Ducroq, Éric Muzy, François Chapotte, Alex Guiral and Fred Bernard. Our work combined modeling, design and nomenclature to develop appropriate technical solutions and guarantee the reliability, aesthetics and robustness of the chassis, a crucial element in winning the confidence of retailers and investors alike.

A connected bike powered by AI

Our participation in the Vefaa project also had to take into account a key element, since this bike incorporates on-board intelligence for the first time: the eBikeLabs technology. The challenge: to integrate this technology into every stage of the project to facilitate the user experience.

Our team of experts and our close collaboration with Roc led us to create the first bike to combine belt drive and intelligent electric assistance. Vefaa incorporates hill-start assistance, regenerative braking and an innovative anti-theft system. Today, we’re continuing our collaboration with Roc Argiles Baro to develop new products.

The French cycling ecosystem as the driving force behind the project

The Vefaa project reflects the brand’s commitment to promoting France’s industrial landscape. As such, the brand is working with We Are Parts on sourcing and with Milc on prototyping. Complete assembly of the bike is carried out at the Usine à Vélo, a partner of the Fler group – of which Antidote Solutions is an integral part.
