The UCI Mountain Bike World Cup weekend in Loudenvielle, from 28th to 31st May will remain a defining moment for the AS05 project. From a formidable track to incredible atmosphere in the paddock, here is our take on an intense and deeply emotional weekend.
Gaëtan Vigé on pace, with high-performing and efficient bike and trackside operations
The Loudenvielle track was unforgiving: fast and highly technical, causing many riders to make mistakes. In this demanding environment, Gaëtan Vigé delivered a rock-solid performance. Staying fluid, and right on the pace, Gaëtan secured his runs with absolute control.
This weekend was mainly a true test for the bike and our race operations under real conditions while validating our R&D choices. It was a 100% successful mission. The bike’s performance and reliability reward the hard work and investment of the whole team, which is a massive win.
Your enthusiasm exceeded our expectations
The interest generated by our project was incredible. Curious fans, passionate riders, and industry insiders came by to discover the AS05 project:
- A memorable launch party: over a hundred people gathered for the official presentation of the project.
- A steady stream of visitors: Every day, around 100 people came to chat with the team.
A huge thank you to our technical partners and the teams of Antidote Solutions and MILC—the AS05 project would not have been possible without you!
The AS05 project is just getting started!
